We, humans have always been at war with the nature. We tried to subdue, use and discard instead of being clever enough to use the resource sustainably. 
Our Future generation need to inherit an earth that is cleaner, greener and safer to them. Therefore, this World Environment Day, we need to pledge to take the opportunity it has given us to envision a different way of living and cooperating, so that future generations may enjoy all the pleasure of our incredible planet 
As a part of World Environmental day celebrations ” Thanal” Nature club of Marian International institute of Management is organising a Photography competition based on the theme “Nature & Covid” .
 

Guidelines

  • The participant must be a student & a citizen of India. To confirm you are a student, you have to submit your student ID card while submitting the photo.
  • Free registration for all the participants
  • The photograph should depict the theme “Covid & Nature” and only one entry is allowed per photographer.
  • The photograph must be original & must be of highest resolution possible (less than 10 mb) and no watermark of any kind should be on the photograph.
  • Participants may submit colour and/or black and white photographs taken during the competition time (May 24th, 2021 – June 30th).
  • Photographs that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.)  & adult content of any kind will be disqualified.
  • A caption must be given for the photograph.
  • Students and employees of MIIM cannot participate in this competition. However, they can still submit their entry and the best ones will be showcased in the MIIM Instagram page.
  • Any photograph received after June 30th, 2021, 11:59 PM & participants found doing malpractices will not be considered for the competition.
  • The photographs of the winners will be uploaded on MIIM Instagram page (https://instagram.com/miim.insta) after the competition. 

Judging Parameters

  • The best picture will be selected based on originality, concept, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.

Showcasing & Awards

  • Photographs will be shortlisted on July 1st, 2021 and the judges will be evaluating the same.
  • Cash prizes, along with certificates will be awarded for overall excellence.
  • Shortlisted images will be displayed on our instagram page.
  • In case of any controversy on a matter not mentioned in the above regulations, the Organizers will decide on the appropriate action. The organizers’ word shall be final and binding.
